28th Annual Brimson Sisu - August 28, 2010
Year of the "still to be decided, but think celestial." !
The 28th Annual Brimson Sisu will start at 10:00 a.m.on August 28, 2010 in Brimson. The location is Petrell Hall, 3345 Brimson-Toimi Rd., 7 miles north of Hugos Store. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $15. if you register before August 10 and $18 after the 10th and includes a short-sleeve T-shirt.
The Brimson Sisu is a +/- 4.4 mile fun run/walk for all ages as a benefit for the Brimson Area Volunteer Fire Dept. Prizes of local crafts and produce are awarded in all age categories of runners and 1st and 2nd walkers. Sisu is Finnish for fortitude or stick-to-it-iveness.
