26th Annual Brimson Sisu - August 23, 2008
The 26th Annual Brimson Sisu will start at 10:00 a.m.on August 23, 2008 at the Toimi Historical School in Toimi. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $15. if you register before August 11 and $18 after the 11th and includes a short-sleeve T-shirt. The Brimson Sisu is a 4.4 mile fun run/walk for all ages as a benefit for the Brimson Area Volunteer Fire Dept. Prizes of local crafts and produce are awarded in all age categories of runners and 1st and 2nd walkers. Sisu is Finnish for fortitude or stick-to-it-iveness.
